About us Vision, mission and values Vision, mission and values Our vision is a world where vulnerable and marginalised people can obtain the tools the need to fulfil their potential and contribute to their societies, and all of our projects work toward this goal. Our mission is to support these vulnerable populations through the provision of quality healthcare and educational opportunities to lift themselves out of poverty and disadvantage. GAGA’s values are: Adaptability: We are a small enough organisation to be agile and reactive to what needs our attention and support the most. We’re innovative in the ways we help, and able to adapt to situations which quickly arise. Respect: We have a strong appreciation for the ideas of others, irrespective of cultural differences. We respect our donors and provide transparent reporting for all of our work. Partnership: We believe that working collaboratively will ensure the most impactful service delivery and an increased chance for a sustainable future. ‘Ubuntu’: An African word meaning ‘I am because you are’. Our projects are community-driven with the belief that there is more that unites us than divides us. The funding we receive from GAGA for our primary healthcare clinic enables us to assist our community. We get a lot of patients who come in on a daily basis needing our help and we do not turn anyone away as long as we have the appropriate resources available. We are grateful to GAGA for enabling us to help many of these individuals who are unable to afford basic medical care Manage Cookie Preferences
