Our Mission

Generating growth for African children and communities devastated by HIV-AIDS and poverty, through the goodwill of people in the UK and elsewhere

Our History

Goodwill & Growth for Africa UK (GAGA UK), registered Charity 1092028*, was originally formed in May 2002 by a group of UK students to support a children's home and outreach project in Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa. The charity quickly grew through a network of supporters. At the beginning of 2010 the decision was taken to fully respect the charity's constitution and expand the beneficiaries to support other organisations in South African and other parts of Africa.

Since Charlie was employed in March 2010, GAGA has radically increased the number of projects and beneficiaries it is involved with and still enjoys a great relationship with dedicated supporters, new and old. Sarah is now the Director and is GAGA's sole employee.

Please visit our news and project pages to find out more detailed information about the projects we support.

2015 marks our 13th Birthday and we wish to say a big Thank you to all our generous donors, our supporters, and all those at the projects we support, who work incredibly hard to improve the lives of others.
