GAGA, Meerkats and Beads....
It has been a busy few days, but a very successful weekend!
Last week on Friday, Sarah and most of the GAGA trustees spent the day discussing all things GAGA. It was a fantastic opportunity (faciliatated free of charge, by business coach Edwina Neale, and free room hire from DCS, Stratford) for us to have an informal discussion about GAGA, our values and vision and how we work together as a team.
It was really useful to get this conversation started and look forward to the upcoming months.
This was followed by our AGM and a Trustee Board Meeting.
On Saturday, we had our 4th Annual Meerkat Race night and what a success! Thank you to all who attended and/or supported this evening! Thank you to our sponsors for the event: Go Cotswolds, The Bridge at Bidford, Warner's Budgens in Bidford, and Theodora Papatheodorou.
The night raised £1180.87 (after a few expenses). We also hope to receive match funding of £500 from Lloyds Bank (we'll let you know when this is paid), taking the total to £1680.87! Fantastic! Thank you everyone!
Ann and Sarah attended the Warwickshire Womens Institute Annual Council Meeting on Monday, and were busy selling beadwork from South Africa all day long (raising just over £300)!
If you have any comments or feedback from our MEerkat Night (or on anything at all), please just drop us an email. If you missed us at the WI sale, but are interested in our crafts, contact us now.
