GAGA Press Coverage

GAGA UK appeared in last weeks The Herald newspaper (Stratford upon Avon local paper). We are as ever, grateful for their coverage of our work and the latest updates. Sarah spoke to them about her recent trip to South Africa, on which she took out 10 blankets made up from the squares from the Remembering Tree. We are happy to be able to share with Stratford, how the Remembering Tree lives on. Click here to see the article in full.

Alan has also updated us on the latest from Sierra Leone. Click here to read his latest newsletter.

Charlie set up a link between the schools a little while back, and so some of the children have been sending letters to one another, as well as sharing photographs of different projects (on topics including democracy, recycling, and vegetable gardens!).

Click here to see a short video which Sarah put together for the assembly - it will give you a brief glimpse in to life at First Step Right School.

There was a great celebration when the buildings were completed and opened and all within the community were 'proud to have a real community school. It is something which many of them have dreamt of for a long time.' Read more here
