After working in education all my life, I have a deep understanding of the importance of quality schooling for children.

Whilst I appreciate that in this country we don't have all that we need, having visited South Africa I have seen the devastating conditions some have to live with. After a couple of extended visits to South Africa I have seen some of the issues faced by people and communities after years of inequality and realise that there are many young people facing a difficult future. I wanted to fundraise for GAGA, for the children and adults that they support through the fantastic organisations in South Africa and Tanzania.
