Caroline Gibello Water and Dust

During a tour of southern Africa, travelling through Namibia, Botswana and Mozambique Caroline Gibello took the photographs that were to become her Water and Dust series.  The work was a collaboration between Caroline and her close friend, fine art artist and illustrator, Sharon Boonzaier.

This is a stunning collection that will appeal to anyone with an appreciation of the continent of Africa, a love of it's ecosystems and who wishes to have a constant reminder of it's breath-taking beauty.

Dr Deon Nel, then as Head of Biodiversity at the WWF wrote this in his introduction in the front of the book

Water and Dust captures the essence of this continent of continents; and Caroline's images capture the beauty that has been forged by the seemingly harsh cycles of nature.

GAGA UK were delighted to receive a few copies of the book from NinetyOne Plc.  We contacted Caroline at her Cape Town gallery and she was amazed that these books were available and generously gave her permission for us to sell them to support the mission and vision of GAGA UK.
