Ithembalihle Pre-School Building Project

Ithembalihle Pre-School Building Project

Our intrepid, self-funded volunteers are at it again. This time they are on their way to South Africa to build a new school for the thriving, sprawling but unfortunately cramped Ithembalihle Pre-School. We are delighted that we will be teaming up withSpirit of Africa; a small, like minded organisation from the North of the UK on this project and that nine of our wonderful volunteers will be building the new school along with a local builder and his workforce.

They left  today and work commences on Monday 28th October.
You can follow their progress here, via their blog, as well as what our Director, Charlie, will be getting up too whilst he is RSA.

Ithembalihle Pre-School Building

Ithembalihle Pre-School Building

As you may have read, we will be building a new school building for the Ithemablihle pre-school this October. We are extremely close to our fundraising target. Soon the foundations will be dug and the slab laid in anticipation of the building teams’ arrival from the UK. The UK team will also be working alongside local tradesmen during their two weeks stay. You can read more here and follow the builds’ progress.
