Every year between November and February we "yarnbomb" trees in the Bancroft Gardens and Holy Trinity churchyard in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire.
Before you check out please add your loved ones names here
After you send the dedication form you'll be returned to the shop when you can complete your checkout, please select one square for every name you would like to be celebrated.
This is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year, as we offer individuals and organisations the opportunity to celebrate the lives of their loved ones by dedicating a knitted or crochet square to a loved one's name. The squares are made into panels and the panels decorate the trees. The trees are not damaged by this and it provides a vibrant and eye-catching display in Stratford upon Avon's winter landscape. Each year the cut-off date is the 1st December to be included in that year's project.
After the event, we remove the panels, wash and repair (if necessary) and make up blankets that we distribute to charitable institutions in the UK and in South Africa.
As we come to the end of 2021 we are starting to emerge from the Coronavirus Pandemic but sadly that is not the case in much of Africa. South Africa is still deep in the battle to protect their population from the ravages of this virus. Our Remembering Tree Project supports Hillcrest Aids Centre Trust who are at the sharp end of this challenge, can you help?
