We’re appealing to our supporters to consider making a regular monthly gift to GAGA UK. Regular planned giving through a standing order allows us to plan ahead allowing for a more sustainable future for GAGA UK and the projects we support. Of course, we are always grateful for a one-off donation towards our work if you are unable to commit to a regular donation.

GAGA UK and Kilimanjaro Young Girls in Need School

GAGA UK is proud to support Kilimanjaro Young Girls in Need (KYGN), a remarkable school providing an excellent education for vulnerable children in the Mabogini area of Kilimanjaro region, Tanzania. KYGN UK donors are invited to continue their contributions through GAGA UK either via BACS into our account, or by clicking 'DONATE' on this fundraising page. Either way, all donations will be ring-fenced to KYGN. Please contact [email protected] if you wish to discuss giving via BACS.

About us

As a small independent charity GAGA is able to listen to our donors and our beneficiaries and make decisions in a collaborative way. We all know our projects very well and welcome new ideas and projects that fit well with our aims and objects . GAGA understands the commitment donors are making and we honour that with regular, open communication.
Our team

GAGA's operates with a UK team including a Board of Trustees who provide oversight and use their knowledge and experience in support of the achievement of our charitable objects. We are further supported by a project co-ordinator in South Africa and of course our trusted partners in southern Africa.

Vision, mission and values

We believe every child deserves a future to look forward to. So we raise funds to strengthen the provision of education and healthcare for orphans and vulnerable children and their care givers in Southern Africa, from infancy to independence. KYGN Tumaini Foundation Primary

Kilimanjaro Young Girls in Need exists to support the education of primary aged children and provide a safe house for vulnerable girls at the Tumaini Foundation Primary School in Tanzania. The school is working hard towards being sustainable but the double impact of the Coronavirus pandemic and loss of a major donor is making 2021 very challenging.

Likhon iThemba HOLAH

Likhon iThemba are a South African charity and passionate about the work that they do. Based in Durban, KwaZulu Natal they are very hands on and try to get involved and help out wherever we can. GAGA UK is proud to be associated with Likhon iThemba and to provide this facility to enable their UK supporters to contribute towards their work.
Personal Fundraisers

We know that GAGA supporters are full of innovative and exciting ideas and they keep finding new ways to raise funds for GAGA UK. We've had teams of "Wolf Runners", magnificent "Loop the Loopers" and most recently "Brave the Shave" Whatever you want to do, either something on your bucket list or an excuse to have some friends over for coffee and cake (or Koffie en Koek) why not make it a GAGA fundraiser and help us to change lives?
