Yes, it really is that time of year again!  We've been busy yarnbombing trees in Stratford upon Avon as part of our Remembering Tree project.  It's the 7th year and our colourful, woolly trees are becoming an intrinsic part of the Stratford upon Avon festive scene!  We've had so much interest and positive comments whilst we have been clambering up ladders and scaffolding to sew the trees into their winter coats!

David Walliams with GAGA UK Director Claire Whatley in Holy Trinity Stratford upon Avon  We even had the pleasure of a quick photo stop with none other than David Walliams who was in town for the VIP Opening Night of his new musical The Boy in the Dress!

All the trees have been dressed but you have until 6th December to dedicate a square to an important person in your life - just pop along to the SHOP and select either a Square or Star from the list (sorry baubles are all sold out!).

Holy Trinity Yarnbombed Avenue of Limes, Stratford upon Avon

If you are a business or local community group you can sponsor a whole tree in Holy Trinity - just email [email protected] for more information!  It's a great way to publicise your business, the footfall in Stratford upon Avon is over 400,000 in December!!!

Tree signs, baubles, stars and the all important remembered names board will be added through next week & the remembered names will be in the Midweek Herald the week before Christmas!

Thanks to all the wonderful crochet and knitting groups and individuals, to the industrious sewing team who stitch squares into panels, the tree wrapping gang and Andy for the scaffold tower!
