Recent Unrest in Kwa Zulu Natal

Along with many of you we are devastated to hear about the recent unrest in Kwa Zulu Natal. Although this has taken place in close proximity to our beneficiary projects and our students' places of study we are pleased to say that no-one has been hurt. However, the impact is still devastating, causing food & fuel shortages, and lack of chronic medication in the short term and likely higher prices and loss of jobs to follow. Read more

Spring GAGAzette

Spring GAGAzette

As I sit writing this newsletter, I can hardly believe it is mid-May, the wind howling and rain hitting the window is weather more reminiscent of November!  A quote that was shared with me yesterday perfectly sums up my feelings today. “The person who dances with you in the rain, will most likely walk with you in the storm” Vivian Greene Read more

Winter GAGAzette

Winter GAGAzette

Welcome to the somewhat delayed final newsletter of 2020, as many of you will know I had to take a leave of absence due to family commitments and bereavement, so for me December 2020 and January 2021 have been personally challenging.  As such a small charity, this means that some of our regular tasks had to be delayed but rest assured the essential ones of managing your generous donations and importantly, supporting and funding our beneficiary projects continued quietly throughout the period. GAGA UK Summer Campaign

This summer, we’re appealing to our supporters to consider making a regular monthly gift to GAGA UK. Regular planned giving through a standing order allows us to plan ahead allowing for a more sustainable future for GAGA UK and the projects we support. Of course, we are always grateful for a one-off donation towards our work if you are unable to commit to a regular donation.

    Vision, mission and values

We believe every child deserves a future to look forward to. So we raise funds to strengthen the provision of education and healthcare for orphans and vulnerable children and their care givers in Southern Africa, from infancy to independence. If you agree that every child deserves a future and you believe in helping where you can, please join us. Together we can make a difference.

    KYGN Tumaini Foundation Primary

Kilimanjaro Young Girls in Need exists to support the education of primary aged children and provide a safe house for vulnerable girls at the Tumaini Foundation Primary School in Tanzania. The school is working hard towards being sustainable but the double impact of the Coronavirus pandemic and loss of a major donor is making 2021 very challenging.
